About the BETTER LIVES MAKEOVER
After two years of coordinating a variety of donations to shelters, youth centers, orphanages, camps, food banks and schools there is a new, bigger donation on the horizon. Cooking Up Better Lives announces the BETTER LIVES MAKEOVER. This effort involves one major ($100,000+) project.
"The Bridge" in Houston, Texas is among the top 10 largest comprehensive crisis centers in the state. Houston Food Bank helps them provide 137,000 meals a year, but the demand is far greater. With the help of Cooking Up Better Lives and the Better Lives Makeover, a new kitchen will be completed later this year and more women and children in need than ever will be served.
